European Union as a partner
The European Commission funded WageIndicator projects. Like the Woliweb project - FP6.
Woliweb means WorklifeWeb. In this research project the concept is
extended from The Netherlands to 8 other European Countries between
2004 and 2007. The EU supports a special pay-gap project in Hungary,
Belgium and The Netherlands - ESF - Equal. Period: 2004-2007.
ILO supports Wageindicator
The International Labour Organisation (ILO) encourages the Wage
Indicator initiative. The ILO is the International Labour Organization
of the United Nations. It stands for the promotion of social justice
and the international recognition of human and labour rights. In April 2007 ILO expressed their
will to support the WageIndicator's "75 countries" plan and to give advise at any level for this plan.
